Tuesday 3rd November

Saturday’s top treble brought us some profit thanks to Derby winning with Burnley and Scunthorpe avoiding defeat. As it happens, all 3 teams won so an outright treble would have return a nice profit but i decided to play it a little safe and increase my stake. It was just unfortunate Man City couldn’t do what most expected and beat Norwich by more than 1 goals. Well, they would have done if Kolarov hadn’t missed that penalty!

So with there not being a lot of football on Monday i’m jumping to Tuesday which sees a full Championship program and a couple of games in League 1, along with the next round of Champions League games which brings up some interesting ties.

I immediately like the look of Burnley and Fulham both scoring in their match at Turf Moor. Burnley have scored in every home match this season, part of the reason they are in 3rd place, and Fulham have scored in every away game bar ONE since March 2015. Their recent blank was actually a couple of weeks ago against Middlesbrough in a 0-0 draw. Burnley have also only kept 2 clean sheets at home this season.
