Nov 12: English Football Preview

With World Cup qualifiers happening all over the weekend our betting action is limited to League One downwards but there are still plenty of games you can get your teeth stuck into as Bolton, Bradford and Sheffield United continue to chase Scunthorpe in League One. Plymouth are the team to catch in League Two with Carlisle and Doncaster being the nearest chasers.

League One leaders Scunthorpe United travel to Coventry, a side who are on a 4 game unbeaten run in the league but a win for Scunthorpe could put them 6 points clear at the top with Bolton and Sheffield United playing on Sunday. Bradford could leap frog Bolton into 2nd place with a win at home to Rochdale.

If you are looking for goals in League One then you could find them down south as Gillingham entertain Northampton and Millwall entertain Bristol Rovers. Northampton have seen 18 goals in their last 4 games while Gillingham usually net at least once so should contribute to an overs game. Millwall are always good for a high scoring game seeing 52 goals in their 15 league matches so far and Bristol Rovers 49 in their 16 games.

The top 2 sides in League Two are on their travels and are both above EVENS to come away with 3 points. Plymouth travel to a decent Crewe side so will find life tough and Carlisle travel to bottom club Newport County and have odds of 2.05 to come away with the victory. Newport did defeat Accrington Stanley however in their last outing 3-1 so confidence levels could be high for the Welsh outfit. This is maybe a match to avoid.
